Angie & Ray approached me in early 2019 to create a logo for their wedding stationery. The only requirement was to incorporate their DC Comics sidekick bunnies, Speedy & Robin, in the design.

Moving Grounds is a collaborative submission with CJ to Bee Breeder’s Big Tiny Coffee House Challenge. The premise prompted us to explore a modern cafe scheme that is easy to construct and transport, while exhibiting the potential of becoming a local landmark.
Moving Grounds is a play on words to relate ground coffee to the notion that the proposed design utilizes greenery to encourage a myriad of interactions. The design is a stimulator of activity on wheels wherever it stations.

I was approached in early 2017 by a dear friend whom I’d describe as humble, yet stubborn, with an eye for detail and an intuitive spidery sense for beauty, among other things. He had wanted to print one of my notebook sketches. I had never printed any of my work and was intimidated by the idea of that — of searching for the right printers, matching the colors, paper textures, test prints, pricing… etc. Thankfully, being an avid freelance photographer himself, he has had ample experience in this area. He took it upon himself to test various print shops, match colors and test prints. Although I was the one who drew this little sketch, he gave it life to live outside of the notebook.

CRÈME is a New York City based boutique cake service dreamed up by a professional nurse with a sweet passion for baking. Katrina was taking on cake orders for birthdays, showers, and weddings on the days that she was supposed to be resting from her demanding day job. Another hardworking individual who never ceases to inspire me with her tenacity and her artistry in cakes and pastries!

Multiply Like Rabbits is the brainchild of the extraordinary Artur Dabrowski. I've had the opportunity to partake in his rabbits' adventures since 2010, when he was still drawing them in notebooks and on Macbooks and hiding them in architectural sections and models. Many things have changed since then -- but the one thing that remains constant was his storytelling through the rabbits. Now the medium might be gold and silver rather than pen and paper, but the adventure lives on...
